MongoDB MCP Server mcp

Query collections, inspect schemas and indexes, and explain plans on a MongoDB deployment, in read-only mode.

What it can reach

Reads every database and collection the connection string's user can read: documents, schemas, indexes, statistics and query plans; create, update and delete tools are not registered.

It needs MDB_MCP_CONNECTION_STRING. Create it at the upstream with the narrowest scope that works and put it in your environment — an agent never enters a secret for you.
